I highly recommend that you go to some, some or all (if you can) of the magnificent concerts of this International Jazz Festival. They already go for the 20th edition and they do not cease to amaze me.
Why do I recommend this experience and what "veteran" tricks I share with you?
The quality of the artists is typical of any Festival at the height of a large city and we have it here, less than half an hour by car from Torrevieja, in San Javier (on the N332 and AP7 https://goo.gl / Maps / RmgPxXh7D8U2)
The auditorium has a large parking lot (I've never had problems parking inside), but there is also street parking, in case you arrive justito or late ...
It is outdoors, so you will enjoy the breeze (at night, it usually refreshes, what is appreciated) and the full moon ...
There is a canteen (with very reasonable prices) inside the premises where you can where incredible canes you can enjoy on your terrace or take you along with a sandwich and maria cookies stuffed with vanilla or chocolate and wrapped in sugar and cinnamon to your seat. You can also take your dinner from home (but will not let you come in with corks)
Take a cushion because the seats are somewhat uncomfortable and the evening can last up to 4 hours, as they usually give 2 concerts a night and there is a break between them ...
If you do not want to suffer leaving the parking at the end of the night, I recommend sacrificing the last "vis" (artists always give one last song ... sometimes more than one).
There are two ways to attend: as a subscriber (the lower area and the upper central area has seats reserved for subscribers) or by free. Take a look at the program because if you will not be able to go to most concerts, better buy the tickets separately and not the subscription. The subscription costs € 120 and includes all concerts except those of George Benson on Thursday, July 20, or Pegasus / Tajmo concert on Friday, July 14 for which an extra € 60 (both) would have to be paid, so You plant at € 180 if you want all, as a subscriber.
